Louise Gray is the music correspondent for New Internationalist and is the author of The No-Nonsense Guide to World Music. Her work has appeared in the Guardian, Times and The Wire. She also co-edited Sound and the City (British Council, 2007), a book exploring the changing soundworld of China.
